Sideboard in Downpipe.

As always, loads of preparation required here, mainly because the past decorators decided to just slap on some chalk paint and not do any prep! Thanks for that.

Now it's all looking as good as new sprayed in Renner 760 tinted to Downpipe.

Some before and afters of this very involved restoration we completed recently.
Far to many nooks and cranys to cover, but every little detail was covered, from full Velux refurbishment, wall papering, lime plastering, staircase alterations and colour matching and decorating of course.
Completed in a mix of Elephants breath, skimming stone, Inchyra blue and White.

We always love working on period properties, and this one, we've had the pleasure of keeping good for a fair few years now. Here's hoping for many more to come.

Sometimes things need repairing properly!

Our client had a relative repair this ceiling after the roof leaked, they certainly had a plan, simply glueing polystyrene blocks to the larves and then filling to finish. Sadly the results spoke for themselves.

Once we stripped it all back, cleaned it, fitted and leveled a single piece of plasterboard to fit, feathered the filler smooth, stain blocked and then painted to finish.

Do it once, do it right! A lot of our job is a false economy, and this is a perfect example of that.

Small space, lots of improvement!

It was time this staircase had some love, and love it received!

With a full redecorate as standard in Elephant's breathe and skimming stone.
We also removed the old pointless handrail, posts and spindles, adjusted sections of the floor to correct sizes, added Scotia where required, sanded the bejesus out of it all and then oiled to match the rest of the house.

We also gave the old and very tired Velux window a full and proper refurbishment!
I've definitely seen a few people painting these over the years and doing a very questionable job of it!
We remove the whole opener, separate all moving parts for cleaning and greasing, sand, clean, paint, then apply new seals and filters before reassembling.

Very happy with how this project has turned out, just waiting on a new carpet now.
Can't wait to see the finished results.

Inchyra blue.

This was a difficult colour to find as the worktops had so many different colours about them and they were out starting point.
So glad though as its really brought this closet toilet to life, pairing perfectly.
Cleaning up the amazing coloured glass, refreshing the whites and centering the pictures properly has finished the room, just waiting on a new oak toilet seat now.

Yeabridge green and Wimbourne white, working so well together.

Bringing new life into this once drab dining room, that now makes the inside feel like the outside.

Oak floor repair today completed.
Never fun when a new floor gets damaged, luckily the guys came to save the day with a custom colour match.

Once the scratch, which sadly covered five boards in the non grain direction had been sanded with p80 and p120, then wet to raise the grain.
Finally two coats of Koate 2part oil with a buff to finish have repaired the floor perfectly.

London Clay, skimming stone and elephant's breath, coming together to complete the perfect space.

Loving this combo with the warmth of skimming stone on walls and ceilings, trim and radiators in elephant's breath and feature pieces in London clay to draw the eye.
All background colours really, allowing the art and furniture to be seen perfectly.

Very happy with how this one's come together.
With plenty of preparation and repair works needed, damp walls, leaking windows, filthy beams to name just a few, all sorted now.

Deepest Amethyst.
Absolutely love this bathroom in its new amethyst and white colour way, with plenty of bright and creative art, it's an excellent place to spend a minute.

A good amount of repair work required, with a leaking roof and toilet, so a new ceiling was needed in the corner of the room and some scribed in t&g around the toilet.
Now it's as good, if not better than new.
