This kitchen had already been "resprayed" before we arrived... but the finish was already failing.

The doors had been sprayed, but the frames were hand-painted, and the foil-wrapped panels had been painted over instead of being properly stripped and prepared.

The result? Chipping, scratching and poor durability.

A quality kitchen respray starts long before the paint goes on. Proper preparation is what determines whether a finish lasts for years or starts failing within months.

We're now stripping everything back, removing the failed coatings, and giving this kitchen the finish it should have had the first time.

If you're considering a kitchen respray, make sure you're comparing the preparation process, not just the price.

This kitchen was originally fitted in 1981, and after 45 years it was ready for a fresh new look.

Another kitchen respray we're having to put right.

The original finish actually looked decent from a distance, but once we got a closer look, the foil wrap hadn't been removed correctly and the frames had been hand-painted.

I never mention other companies by name and I never will. This isn't about calling anyone out.

It's about showing the difference that proper preparation makes.

A kitchen respray isn't just about the final coat of paint. The preparation is what determines whether the finish lasts.

That's why we take the time to do things properly from the start.

We do it right the first time round. 👍

We are honoured to have been asked to sponsor the jerseys for such a great cause.

Paul, Ciaran and Davy are currently taking on the Ireland 4 Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in each of the four provinces within 48 hours. Carrauntoohil (Munster), Mweelrea (Connacht), Slieve Donard (Ulster) and Lugnaquilla (Leinster) —all in memory of Seán Murphy

The boys have already completed two peaks today and have the remaining two to do tomorrow as they continue this incredible challenge to raise funds for the Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke Foundation.

If anyone would like to support this amazing cause, any donation would be hugely appreciated. The GoFundMe link is below 💙🤍

Watch the lines when the masking comes off 👀

Proper masking is what makes the difference between a rushed paint job and a factory-quality kitchen respray.

No overspray. No paint inside the cupboards. Just clean sharp lines and a proper sprayed finish.

Fully resprayed using our usual full masking process before a single coat of paint went near the kitchen.
