Due to Retirement we are looking for a skilled Accounts Administrator to oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable across our business based at our main office at 19 Outlack Road, Armagh. BT60 2AZ
They will be responsible for:
🖊️the maintenance of Sales & Purchase ledgers and Nominal ledger to Trial Balance stage.
🖊️reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts.
🖊️liaising with HMRC with Quarterly VAT and monthly PAYE return.
🖊️contacting customers to capture timely payments.
Skills & Qualifications
👉🏻Strong understanding of bookkeeping procedures and best practices
👉🏻Time management skills
👉🏻Capable to stay organised and maintain detailed records
👉🏻Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
👉🏻Knowledge of VAT/PAYE returns
👉🏻Basic Arithmetic competency
Preferred Qualifications
🧮Significant experience in finance/accounting or in a similar role
🧮Proficiency with accounting software - SAGE Accounting products would be advantageous
🧮Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software such as Excel
🧮Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
🧮Experience in data entry
🧮Effective decision making and problem solving techniques.
