Bank holiday weekend and for once it's not raining. I'm off fishing. What are you all doing this weekend?

06/05/2016

It's been a hot one today. Plants are loving it. The soil's warming up and everything's trying to make up for lost time. Lot's of mowing, even more weeds. Busy time in the garden.

Whats with the weather at the moment. Snow in Felpham and hail in Petworth. Come on summer, where are you? Anyone else still got their heating on?

Unfortunately, lots of people lost their fencing in the storm last week. All the fencing in the local area has been sold out which is causing a few problems. Anyone know of anywhere that might have fencing in stock?

Thankfully Imogen has now passed, let's hope we get some better weather for a while. Busy right now as lambing is nearly here (we start the 1st March) and I'm trying to get all my fencing jobs finished before then. I can't believe how quickly this years flying past already!

As the big day is almost upon us, I'd like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

Finished another patio today, and moved the clients hen house into its new home. Sheep work tomorrow, garden clearance Thursday, and 're-stringing' climbing roses on Friday. No two days the same is a challenge, but it keeps me on my toes, and it's why I love my job :)

Electric fencing today ready to move the ewes onto turnips on Saturday. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but as the lorry can't get here I've decided to take some time out after doing the lookering and go and see The Hunger Games. Anyone else seen it?

13/11/2015

Another busy week at work finished. I've done everything this week from loading wool from the farm to be sold at the British Wool Marketing Board, to laying patios in beautiful Indian Sandstone. I did have a bit of an 'oops' moment yesterday when I dropped my mobile down a well! Let's hope the rice trick works! Have a great weekend everyone :)

It really is a superpower!

Spent the day putting the rams on day today. Lambing to start around the 1st March 2016. Amazing to be thinking of next year already.

16/09/2015

Rain, rain go away... what a day eh?! Off to the Dolphin Sheep Fair at Ardingly tomorrow to buy some rams. Fingers crossed the weather's a little better.
