We are also strong advocates of giving back, and are proud founding members of The Promise of Sight charity. Our mission with Promise of Sight is to build 5 eye clinics, to provide 500,000 children the gift of sight, within 5 years.

Sometimes during the planning process, it becomes clear that an extension wonโ€™t offer everything the client needs and it will be more cost-effective to undertake a new build ๐Ÿ”จโ

That is what happened with this gorgeous four-bedroom detached house in Marlow.โ 
โ 
We previously tried to re-work an existing design to the house, before concluding that a new build would be the best option.โ 
โ 
That enabled us to create this stunning family home, full of natural light and open communal spaces, as well as private office space and balcony at the back of the house. โ

Great to see this a job built and finished, the original concept was for a big wrap around extension on side and rear. Due to the condition of existing dwelling, the house was completely demolished and rebuilt as new build. The cost for extending the house was a similar price but with the benefit of saving VAT on a new build the overall price as cheaper. This resulted in the customer being very happy.

It is always so satisfying to see our projects complete! Especially the slightly trickier ones.

This self build in Arborfield took over a year to win the planning permission battle with the Local Authority.

We certainly think the wait was worth it for the end result however! ๐Ÿ˜

End Result: 2400sqft 3 bedroom chalet bungalow with integral garage.

Reality Vs CGI ๐Ÿคฉ

Introducing : Wilson Road...

We do a vast amount of development projects, a large amount of which are sold on after the planning gain. So it's always lovely to see one of our design projects completed and built out in Reading Town Centre.

Wilson Road started out as an empty plot of land, used as car parking, walking distance from Reading Town Centre.

The design for these 3 units was completely guided by the local surroundings, but enhanced by stone finishes.
