Our clients faced the challenge of deciding on the perfect window and door colors to their new home currently under construction , which we fully understand can be a difficult decision.

To assist them in this process, we carefully selected a range of potential colors offered by Residence windows, including options like sage, clay, clotted cream, and RAL 7003. These colors were then applied to our highly detailed renderings, allowing our clients to visualize the possibilities and discover the ideal combination that suits their unique taste.

But we didn't stop there. Going the extra mile, we also rendered the Crittall doors with and without astragal bars, providing our clients with even more options to explore. Whether they prefer the timeless elegance of astragal bars or a sleeker, uninterrupted look, our renderings enable them to make an informed choice.

PLANNING APPROVED

We're thrilled to report that the week ended on a high note, as we successfully secured planning permission for a project in Moira. Our clients had approached JBA with the vision of expanding and renovating their family home to create more living space, while also taking full advantage of the scenic views that their extensive garden has to offer.

While our initial plan had called for bi-folding doors, further discussions with the clients led us to modify our design. In the end, we decided that low-level sash windows would be the perfect choice, allowing us to create a glazed corner that could incorporate a custom-built dining table and bench seating. This change maximized the use of available space and perfectly matched the clients' requirements.

In addition to this, we also successfully transformed the original coal store and reconfigured the ground floor layout. We flipped the kitchen to the opposite side of the property, to better align with the dining and sitting area. The end result is a truly transformed space that better reflects our clients' lifestyle and preferences.

We are thrilled that our plans to renovate and expand a home in Burton-Upon-Trent have been given the green light.

The project entails tearing down the existing conservatory and constructing a new, classically designed orangery in its place. One of the main priorities for the homeowners was to create a spacious open floor plan where the entire family could come together.

This was accomplished through the addition of a single-story extension at the rear of the house, which increased the overall space, as well as internal modifications that eliminated partition walls. The result is a versatile area that can be opened up to accommodate large gatherings with all the family.

Additionally, we will also replace the old, detached garage with an updated version, providing the homeowners with ample space to park their cars comfortably and securely.

We are delighted to have secured planning permission to extend and remodel a home in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

The proposal seeks to demolish and replace the existing garage with a traditionally detailed porch to create a physical and visual entrance to the property that had been previously lost.

A key consideration for the family was creating an ample open plan space where they could all gather. This was achieved through a single storey rear extension to increase space and internal alterations, which removed separating walls allowing us to relocate the kitchen and provide adequate room to insert a utility and downstairs WC as well.

The proposal consists of a two-storey side extension providing a large fourth bedroom and family bathroom. In addition, a large single storey rear extension and internal alterations create an open plan kitchen, dining, living and playroom whilst reorientating the internal spaces allows for amazing views down the garden and into the fields beyond.

We’re delighted to have secured planning permission for a two-storey side extension in Sileby, Loughborough.

The proposal aims to provide:

- A large integral garage for secure storage.
- Formation of a utility and WC to increase the functionality of the property.
- A porch incorporating a lean to roof to tie the proposed and existing together.
- A master bedroom with dressing area. Additionally, by creatively incorporating an existing air cupboard and careful design of the access into the bedroom we've managed to form an en-suite with a shower.
- A family bathroom with a free standing bath and walk in shower.

It's interesting how adding 'utilitarian' rooms, although not at times seen as 'exciting' can make a huge difference to the function and enjoyment of a home.
