It’s a family affair…👨‍👩‍👦

SKETCH is a small family-run architecture business based in Swannington North West Leicestershire, run by husband and wife team Jon + Lydia.

We provide everything you need to get your home renovation or extension project off the ground - design ideas, floor plans, elevations, planning + building regs drawings and application management, great builder recommendations….and over 15 years of experience!

Our business was born out of a desire to simplify the design, planning + building regs process with a service that is personable, affordable and exceeds expectations.

Positioned midpoint between Birmingham, Nottingham + Leicester we work across the whole of the East + West Midlands.

Last year we welcomed a new member to the team, Johnny, who’s certainly been keeping us on our toes!!

By converting the under used space into a kitchen and living area, we have taken a disconnected bedroom to a self contained one bed annex, adding value and appeal to a stunning rural property.

We then added an in-keeping but interesting carport, complete with electric car charging, which along with a large drive still provides plenty of space for a fleet of cars.

It’s been a whirlwind couple of months adjusting to life with a little one, in fact we’re not quite sure where the last 12 months have gone - the pace of life has certainly picked up since long gone lockdown days!

We even missed celebrating two years of SKETCH 🥳, and can’t quite believe we’ve reached that milestone already.

So a big belated thank you to all our clients past and present for letting us into your homes and lives to play our part in helping you love where you live. The only downside to being so busy is the lack of time to update you on what we’re up to, but we’re going to give it a good go now life is a little more settled!

We’ve been a little absent from social media the last few months…growing our next member of Team SKETCH 👶🏼 & making some big changes, which sees Lydia leave the corporate world to work with Jon on a permanent part time basis.

Now life feels a little calmer, we have so much to share with you from 2021, and would also like to say a huge thank you to all our clients that have trusted us with designing your dream and our partners who have supported us, recommended us & shared their advice.

On Friday we raised a toast to one year since we went with SKETCH. 🎈
•
Our first official project under the SKETCH name didn’t kick off until end June, and we only launched the website in August. Since then we’ve helped over 35 homeowners take the first step on the journey to transforming their life at home, creating the space they dream of and adding value for the future.
