🚨 Looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager – Ashford, Kent 🚨

Hi everyone,

I’m looking to connect with a freelance social media manager based in or near Ashford, Kent to help manage the online presence of my landscaping business.

We’re looking for someone who can:
• Create engaging content (posts, stories, reels, etc.)
• Schedule and manage posts across platforms (mainly Instagram & Facebook)
• Grow our local audience and improve engagement
• Manage comments, messages, and basic customer interactions
• Occasionally run ads or promotions

Ideally, you’ll understand small business marketing, have a good eye for visuals, and be confident creating content that reflects the work we do on the ground.

This would be an ongoing freelance role with flexible hours and the potential to grow with the business.

🔹 Freelance Landscape Estimator Required

We are a growing landscaping business based in [Ashford, Kent], and we’re looking to partner with a reliable and experienced freelance estimator on a flexible, project-by-project basis.

✅ About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, timely estimates for a range of landscaping projects — from small domestic gardens to larger commercial sites. This will include:
• Quantifying hard and soft landscaping works from drawings/specifications
• Preparing detailed take-offs and labour/material breakdowns
• Providing cost estimates for materials, plant hire, labour, and subcontractors
• Assisting with tender submissions or client quotes when needed

🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Experience in landscape or construction estimating (ideally 3+ years)
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient with Excel (or estimating software like Bluebeam, ConQuest, Cubit, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
• Good communication – able to liaise with us by phone/email

🛠️ Project Types
• Garden redesigns (patios, turfing, fencing, planting)
• Commercial landscaping (housing developments, schools, business parks)
• One-off tenders or regular ongoing support

💼 Workload & Terms
• Freelance / self-employed basis
• Remote or hybrid working
• Paid per project or day rate, depending on scope
• Quick turnaround often required (2–5 days from enquiry to quote)
