on an inspirational day. have organised a series of workshops to help launch a program. I was at in with around 50 others to talk about the pressure and set prioroties for a bottom up approach to helping nature recover in a collaborative locally led strategy.
I met some lovely people and many more nature lovers.

The has set for another year. I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it as it disappeared behing the this morning. Not the best photo but i thought id share the moment.

Filled with the sense of gratitude this morning for the abundance of life and the beauty of my locality. has so much to offer and really lucky to be in the position to share the experiences and lessons i have learnt in my time here.

My role is becoming clear and strengths are now more supported as I aim to help lead a whole system approach to a more positive future for this region.

Observing the moon is a great way of obtaining perspective and reground in the natural rhythms of our planet.

I absolutely love the and have been observing her with a simple telescope since leaving london 8 years ago.
I have studied the science and delved into my spiritual side using her incredible power to grow food using the calendar similar to that of and had great results.
Im still learning more and experimenting with the preparations this year and felt confident enough to do a podcast with the lovely Carly Rose.

Stumbled accross this beauty today hiding in a log pile. I carefully covered back up. I was stunned by its vivid beauty and colour with the pale grey sky above. I have always wondered how they survive the winter to return the next year. Usually the flap so quick that it is hard to admire their incredible markings but it was very slow and really brightened my day.

I missed putting out a post for yesterday because quite fittingly i had my hands in the soil all day retrieving the incredibly big from the .
These are from central America related to the sunflower.
They are full of a carbohydrate called which post harvest slowly turns to . So eaten fresh avoids glycemic spike!

They went out on distribution today along with my colourful to spread nutrition accross .
The soil is where the majority of our food comes from and for the last century has been ravaged to the brink of collapse by 'convential' large scale agriculture.
Its time to put the protections in place for the sake of all terrestial life. We can feed our soil naturally using composting techniques put carbon back in there with mob grazing, biochar and tree planting, we can discover the incredible power of this living microbiome with new and developing science and see how healty soil creates healthy food for healthy guts and healthy minds, creating healthy commnities and and a healthy happy planet.
