🚿🔧 Recent Bathroom Repair & Renovation in Park Farm 🔧🚿

A few months ago, a customer in Park Farm contacted us regarding a leak coming through their ceiling 💧😟. Upon arrival, I traced the issue back to the en-suite shower. After inspecting underneath the shower tray, I was genuinely shocked by the quality of the installation 🤯. The workmanship was extremely poor, with badly applied silicone around the tray and several signs of corners being cut ❌.

At that stage, I removed and replaced the silicone around the shower tray and monitored the situation 🔍.

Unfortunately, a few months later, the customer experienced the same problem and contacted us again 📞. I advised that a more in-depth investigation would be required, meaning the shower tray, wall boards, and flooring would need to be removed to properly locate the source of the leak 🛠️.

Once everything was exposed, it became clear why the problem had returned 👀. The entire installation had been carried out to a very poor standard. We discovered incorrectly installed waste pipework beneath the floor, with pipe runs flowing in the wrong direction 🚫⬇️, preventing waste water from draining correctly.

To resolve the issue properly, we:

✅ Removed all faulty pipework
✅ Installed new waste pipe runs with the correct falls and drainage
✅ Fitted a brand-new stone shower tray 🚿
✅ Installed new wall boarding 🧱
✅ Rebuilt and finished everything to a professional standard 👌

The transformation was incredible 🙌.

It’s genuinely concerning how many homeowners are paying good money for poor workmanship and substandard installations 🏠💸. Problems like these often end up costing far more to rectify than if the job had been done correctly the first time 😔.

🚿 Bathroom renovation completed in Tenterden 🛁

Full rip out of the old bathroom suite and disposal completed ✔️
Installed a brand new shower tray with glass wall panels ✨
Fitted a stunning Japanese-style bath 🛁
Finished off with brand new flooring throughout 👌

Also completed another bathroom refurbishment over in Tonbridge 🔨🚽 with full renovation works carried out to modernise the space.

Plus a cylinder replacement completed in Bethersden 🔧
The old cylinder located in the loft was found to be unsupported and unsafe ⚠️ posing a danger to the customer. We safely removed it and installed a brand new cylinder downstairs in a secure and properly supported location ✅

Also changed over the 3-port valve to ensure the heating system was running efficiently again ♨️✔️

Recently completed a heating upgrade for a customer in Tenterden, installing and hanging two new column radiators. Each radiator was carefully positioned, securely fixed, and fully tested to ensure strong, even heat output ❄️➡️🔥. Pipework was adjusted neatly, and the system was bled and checked for top efficiency ✔️

The customer was extremely happy with the finished result and thrilled to have their new rads ready just in time for Christmas 🎄😊

We’ve just completed a full bathroom upgrade in Willesborough, Ashford. During the project we came across existing LCS (low-carbon steel) pipework, which we adapted using traditional pipe-threading methods 🔧 to ensure strong, reliable connections for the new layout.

The job included a full rip-out of the old bath 🛁 and installing a modern shower tray 🚿 for better access and a cleaner finish. We also fitted stylish plastic wall panelling 🧼✨ to give the room a fresh, waterproof, low-maintenance look.

It’s Been a Busy Time for Farr Flow Plumbing & Heating Solutions! 🔧

We’ve been a bit quiet on here recently, but that’s only because we’ve been flat out on some great projects! 💪

Over in Hythe and Seabrook, we’ve been installing 4-inch waste pipe runs for new flats 🏢, as well as completing a games room renovation with brand-new radiators and a stylish bathroom fit-out 🚿🔥

We’ve also been keeping busy with smaller but equally important jobs — fixing shower mixers, replacing old cartridges with new ones 💦, and carrying out callouts like the one at McCann’s Brewery in Biddenden 🍻, where we replaced a faulty toilet syphon and got everything flushing perfectly again ✅🚽
