Chelsea always starts long before the show.
Yesterday was one of those full yard days - vans open, plants being sorted, and the team working through everything piece by piece to get it ready for RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2026.
What goes to Chelsea is never from one place alone. Alongside stock from our own nursery, we also bring in plants from Boningale Nurseries - and then it’s over to the team to check, sort and prepare everything so it all works together exactly as it should.
It’s not just a load-up, it’s a process. Moving things around, making decisions on the go, and sometimes figuring out how to get the bigger pieces on safely.
The tree took a bit more planning than most — not a quick lift, but something everyone had a hand in getting loaded safely.
Tony Benger’s not in the yard as much day-to-day now, but whenever he is around, he’s straight back into it — getting involved, helping out, and making sure everything leaving the yard is right.
We’re also continuing our collaboration with Robert James Workshop Ltd , supplying and preparing the planting for his garden design - looking forward to seeing his vision come together at Chelsea.
A lot of work behind the scenes, a lot of people involved — all leading up to one show.
