Little tip for anyone having problems with their combi boiler in this cold weather. If your boiler stops working, before you call out a gas engineer, check that the condensate pipe isn't frozen. This is the pipe that comes outside your house from the boiler, and normally runs into a drain.
This can easily become frozen and stop your boiler working.. This happend to one of my customers today. The property had no heating or hot water. I poured warm water over the pipe on the outside of the house, this started to melt the water inside. Unfortunately for my customer the pipe was frozen solid and we had to cut the pipe and remove the ice. We then re started the boiler and it was all working again.
Check this before you call out a gas engineer, save yourself some money in these difficult times! 👍🥶

Another bathroom refurb. This was a challenge being on the 1st floor of an retirement appartment block of flats! We got it all done and looking good 💪

Another ensuit completed. This job was the definition of a grower! The original job was to replace the existing bath with a tray and extend the existing tiling. Upon starting work we found that the joists had been badly installed and had to be replaced! It was then decided we would carry out a full rip out and start again. Another happy customer!
