Ash Dieback and Ash Tree Pruning

We are spending a lot of time working on Ash trees that are suffering from Ash Dieback, or Chalara. These trees can have lots of dead wood that can be substantial in size and when it breaks off in the wind it can cause a lot of damage. We follow the Arboriculture Association guidance on this disease and only fell and remove affected trees if there is a risk to the public. We are happy to help make these trees safer by removing the dead wood in the hope that this will encourage new healthy growth, as is being seen in trees in the south of England. If you would like to discuss Ash dieback and associated pruning then please get in touch.

Tree Surveys

Planning applications that are made through the local authority can require a tree survey to be submitted as part of the application. This survey should conform to BS5837:2012.

We are trained by the Arboricultural Association in how to produce these surveys and reports to help home owners, developers and businesses submit successful planning applications where trees are involved.
