Recent job completed to install a meandering walkway along a stream using reclaimed materials. Driven pins were used to reassure the bank. The walkway was a little uneven hence adding the little steps. Very happy customer and they get to enjoy a beautiful walk alone the stream each day.

Let’s talk Orchards.

These can be such an asset to a property but need careful maintenance. This customer had moved to a property and the orchard needed some sorting. They were keen to keep it ‘natural’ but not like the jungle we found! This is now one of my regular customers so at set times of the year we do a few strategic cuts then let the grass grow slightly to cushion any falling apples at harvest time. They also needed a clear pathway mown at all times.

In terms of the trees themselves they need pruning with a ‘goblet’ shape forming in the middle. This allows the air to flow properly and should be undertaken between November and March whilst the tree is still dormant.

Here you can see a spectacular discovery apple tree from the orchard with the most delicious fruit.

Customer also has geese and I need to add ‘goose whisperer’ to my CV!

The front of your property can make such a statement and more often than not you don’t have to spend a fortune replacing - look at what is there and bring back it’s magic. It can make a huge difference.

Here is the perfect example in a little fence glow up for you. This customer asked for their fence to be brought back to life. It had been neglected for a while and that lovely cream had become more green! Washed, scrubbed and repainted and she looks like new! Swipe to see her pre makeover!

Let me introduce the face behind Butlers Gardening Services.

I’m Phil, husband, dad of 3 and full time gardener and property maintenance man. I’ve always loved gardening. This is my primary passion. I love being outdoors and also love to see how a garden evolves and changes over the seasons and time. It’s great to nurture something and watch it bloom (literally!) I am also a hugely practical and knowledgeable when it comes to property maintenance. I’ve a raft of experience and know it’s something I do a damn good job of which led me to decide to set my own business up. A business that offered a variety of home services in one man!

Once you find someone you can trust and work with it’s helpful if they can willingly (and more importantly capably) turn their hand to any of your garden and property needs. So here I am!

Services that I offer include:
* Gardens: hedges, trees, grass and lawn care, turfing, gravelling, pressure washing, sheds, greenhouses, fencing, decking, weeding, planting. I can offer one off slots or regular visits.
* Property services - driveways cleaning and resealing, roofing issues, gutters cleaned and repaired, interior and exterior painting and decorating, plastering, tiling and loft boarding and insulating.

These list aren’t exhaustive so please feel free to ask. As you can see it’s all sounds very practical but I can assure you I can also do pretty ….. if you want a garden in bloom that’s a delight to look at then I can do that too! Practicality and pretty - that’s a winning combination!

I completely understand that picking the right person for the job can be daunting so to put your mind at rest I can offer an excellent set of references and for you to view previous works should you so wish.
