We are currently closed for two weeks.
We have taken the difficult decision to delay our work schedule for two weeks.
The government advice on trades and construction in other peoples homes says we can work, but Matt and I felt that, as we are able to delay , the question isn’t if we can work right now, but if we should. We are not an emergency trade and spend whole days in houses, usually more.
Hopefully the virus numbers will have come down in a fortnight.
I will only be able to return part time till the children go back to school this will effect all bookings for the following weeks, thank you for understanding.
I would just like to thank the customers I spoke to this week about this and the positive response I received from everyone.

Just a quick note, we are staying up to date into the lockdown.
We will continue to work as normal through the lockdown. Government advice allows us to work in other peoples homes as long as we continue to distance and follow our usual guidelines.
Will update if advice changes.
We will call ahead to confirm bookings.

I wanted to update our current working practices, to ensure our customers we are doing our best to look after them, and ourselves.
I have carefully read the government advice on working in households and this doesn’t seem to change even if the tier of local restrictions changes. I will constantly check to see if this is amended.

We will call ahead to check on any symptoms or isolation instructions.
We will work isolated or in a pair only.
Maximum ventilation of work area. I understand this may be inconvenient as temperatures drop and may result in longer work times.
2m distance to be observed, masks worn if less than 1m for prolonged period.
Minimum contact with the household who should refrain from entering areas of work.
Designated w/c if possible.
Any symptoms reported for 14 days after work completed.
We completely understand if you need to delay us and ask for flexibility in dates in the coming months as we do our best to continue working thru these restrictions.

We are up and running again!
We have kept up to date with PHE guidelines and risk asses each job daily.
We are prioritising outside and empty sites atm but will consider domestic interior work if access and distancing allows us to.
Some flexibility is needed on dates as I can only currently work part time because of my children still being at home, but I know everyone will understand.
Stay safe and hopefully things continue to improve for us all ✅

We will be waiting a few days for the government advice on maintenance work in homes to be updated.
In the mean time we will start to organise the outside work we have in the diary. We will need some flexibility and a little understanding from our customers.
Materials can take a week to order and there is no childcare available but we will do our best to get going and do it safely.
