Our first meeting will be on Tuesday 14th April and it will be in the form of a Gardeners' Question Time. We have a panel of gardeners who will be pleased to help you with any problems you have in your garden or with house plants, or if you simply require advice. It starts at 7:30 in the Mike Sheridan Room, and as usual tea or coffee will be served during an interval. If you have questions, it would be helpful if you could send them to us by email on [email protected] by Sunday (12th), so that we can give the panel a little advance warning - not all of them are professional GQT panellists! Of course, there will also be a limited opportunity to ask unscheduled questions in the second half, but emailed questions will get priority.

Tuesday 12th May - Speaker Geoff Feeney on his Deeside Japanese Garden Mike Sheridan Room 7:30pm
Saturday 6th June - Annual Plant Sale in the Victoria Hall 10am-12.30pm

Tuesday 14th July - Visit to Birkhall with Kirsty Wilson, Head of Gardens Meet at 6pm at Glenmuick Church to Carshare. Members only.

Sat 15th & Sun 16th August - The Garden Festival in the Victoria Hall 11am-4pm - The theme is Railways. All entries of Flowers, Plants, Floral Art, Homegrown Fruit and Vegetables , Needle Handicrafts, Crafts, Home Produce and Children’s entries will be welcomed on Friday afternoon. Open to everyone

Tuesday 8th September - Visit to Glamis Castle with tour of Gardens and the Castle. Members only. Times to be confirmed.
Tuesday 6th October - Speaker (to be confirmed) Mike Sheridan Room at 7:30pm

Tuesday 3rd November - AGM and Quiz night. Mike Sheridan Room at 7:30pm

Membership for the year is only £12 and Guests are welcome at £4.00 per meeting. You will note that the Garden visits are for members only as numbers are restricted. Fees can be paid on Tuesday the 14th April (or at any meeting) or you can pay by BACs to Ballater Royal Horticultural Society, sort Code 80-05-51 (Bank of Scotland) Account Number 00147344. Please quote your name as Reference.
