💨 Yesterday’s Project – Out with the Old, In with the New!

Big day yesterday using our brand-new equipment for granulate (blown-in) insulation removal – and wow, what a difference it made!

If you’ve ever dealt with granulate insulation, you’ll know it can be an absolute nightmare to remove from a roof space 😅 — but not anymore! Our new extraction vac machine makes the job quick, clean, and efficient.

This particular roof space had previously been insulated through the Affordable Warmth Scheme… but when we got up there, we couldn’t believe what we found — insulation laid around cardboard boxes, carpet, and even an empty water tank! 🤦‍♂️ Sometimes it’s easier to just move the stuff, right? 😂

We started by safely removing all the timber, cardboard, carpet, and that old water tank. Then the machine got to work — lifting and pumping the old insulation straight into huge collection sacks with ease.

Once everything was cleared, we installed new insulation to 300mm and fitted a raised flooring kit for extra storage space.

Massive thanks to our client for letting us stay late to get everything finished 🙌
