Just on my way home from a two day APDO Conference in Manchester with around 80 other Professional Declutterers and Organisers.

I love the APDO in person events, it’s such a supportive community, everyone is willing to share their experiences and we had some great discussions.

We had some fantastic speakers giving us talks on how to grow our businesses as well as how best to serve our neurodivergent clients and clients experiencing grief.

I’ll be using the train journey home to write an action list as there’s no point attending these events without taking the advice and the doing the work afterwards.

I’ve worked with Rhiannon for about 6 months, decluttering and organising different rooms in her house. Over time she has learnt new skills on how to tackle her ‘stuff’. I was so proud at our last session when she made a point of keeping items in the same category together, so she could find them easier.

Are there any Christmas gifts that haven’t found a place in your home? Is it because you don’t want it or need it? You don’t have to keep it, there are options. Whilst it’s in your space it’s in the corner of your mind, another thing to sort. Once it’s gone, it’s literally ‘out of sight, out of mind’. Vision and mind decluttered instantly.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas 🎄🎅

It’s been a busy couple of months with decluttering and organising sessions with clients, networking and having a bit of fun.
As well as doing a lot of prep for Christmas, as many parents do.

I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved with my clients this year and hope to help more in 2026. (Maybe some group workshops, watch this space!)
