So that’s the World Defense Show Edition 3 done & dusted, with my role as Senior CAD Designer complete.

We work long days and well into the night, maybe not as long as some, but nevertheless the event itself is not a 9-5.

There are curve balls thrown at us continuously and it is how we respond to those challenges, that defines the type of characters that subscribe to this lifestyle.

The attached are photos of some those folks; they not only help you get through this in a professional manner but moreover with their friendship too.

Thanks to Trivandi for organising and making my trips to Riyadh so effortless over these past 14 months. A special shout out to our Guv’nor and Ops Guru Sarah Gladstone, and of course to the other member of the A-Team, my good friend Aayah Porter.

Continuing our theme of before and after shots, we present this freshly renovated 4 Bedroom House in Claydon, Oxfordshire.

We worked closely with Tibbetts Developments Ltd to bring this dishevelled property back to life, and assisted the guys with the Planning Process and working drawings to secure Building Regulations Approval.

A complete renovation, an internal remodel along with an extension, car port and outbuilding, has seen this once Old School House in the village brought back to life and then some!

So that’s another World Defense Show completed for Alex.
The 2024 edition showed a marked increase in exhibitors, visitors, military assets and close to double the amount of static aircraft display from 2022.
From designing and positioning the aircraft & military assets, and providing CAD cover for his colleagues Zahra & Aayah, all the hard work Alex had put in over the past 8 months has paid off.
Moreover, it’s been great to reignite old friendships and make new friends and colleagues, and we truly believe that this is why the show from his standpoint, is such a success. From an operational perspective, needing to rely and trust in these friendships is paramount, not only get the job done but to also bring the smiles along the way.
Well done one and all!

Great to catch up with our client Deborah last night over in Ettington, to check on progress of the extension to the rear of her property. Although at a very early stage, the quality of workmanship is incredible and I look forward to popping over again in the next few months, to see this project complete - kudos to A J Ray Construction and a special thanks to Deborah for allowing us to put up our sign 👍🏻

****Planning Permission Granted****
We are delighted to have secured Planning Permission for this £250k renovation of this dwelling close to Stratford Upon Avon.
The clients were keen to head the contemporary route and this is reflected with our design.
We are also taking advantage of achieving near carbon net zero construction, by increasing insulation throughout by 50%, employing air source heat pumps, rainwater harvesting and solar panels.
Cannot wait to see this project built!
