We are looking for an experienced joiner to join our kitchen installation team in the new year.

Drumoak Kitchens are a family-owned company serving the northeast of Scotland and beyond. We have been in business for over 50 years offering our clients hand crafted, bespoke kitchens as well and modern high quality German alternative. We specialize in high quality projects that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the home.
We tend to our clients every need and follow the process from start to finish with all our own staff to ensure that the highest of standards are met. We manufacture and install kitchens that are built to last, and our customer service reflects this.

Candidate

As a Kitchen Fitter/Installer, you’ll play a key role in bringing our clients’ dream kitchens to life. You’ll be responsible for the installation of bespoke kitchens, ensuring every project is completed to the highest standard. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Install bespoke kitchens, including cabinetry, worktops, and appliances, to a high standard.
• Read and interpret kitchen plans and technical drawings.
• Work closely with the design and project management team to ensure installations meet client expectations.
• Carry out adjustments and problem-solving on-site as needed.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter/Installer.
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings and plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to on-site challenges.
• A professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
• Proactive and able to use own initiative.
• Team player – collaborative and supportive of colleagues.
• Full UK driving license (essential).

A kitchen in Banchory recently installed in a house dating back to the late 18th century where the client was looking for a modern, yet timeless kitchen. Instead of going for a traditional shaker style galley kitchen, we combined kitchen units with built in pantries at the end to create a more integrated feel between the old house and new kitchen. The ceiling cornicing finishes this off and completes the look.
The butcher’s block is handmade from solid oak in our workshop and of special notice is the 60mm thick quartz top throughout. The kitchen includes all integrated appliances and is the perfect solution for a busy modern family life in an old house

Looking to modernise your kitchen with minimal fuss?
Our client wanted to replace an existing AGA in their farmhouse with a new range cooker. The width of the AGA was 1600mm and by using two separate Lacanche range cookers we were able to install the ideal replacement. At the same time, we also refurbished all fronts in Farrow & Ball French Grey and made the kitchen new again. Needless to say, the client now has a kitchen that will last at least another 20 years!
