What was once a garage door is now one of the standout features of this home. 🏡

Our customer wanted to make better use of the space and chose these beautiful Oak coloured French doors complete with a tongue and groove panel design and realistic woodgrain finish. The Georgian bar glazing in both the doors and sidelights adds plenty of character, while the antique black lever handle and flag hinges provide the perfect finishing touch. 🪟

The transformation did not stop there.

For the front entrance, the customer selected a traditional composite door in the same Oak finish, complete with a stunning stained glass feature and clear glazed fanlight. Finished with an antique black lever handle and matching letterbox, it complements the property perfectly. 🚪

The garage may be a little disappointed that it is no longer a garage, but we think the house is quite pleased with the outcome. 😄

Matching finishes front and back have given this property a completely different look, proving that sometimes changing a couple of doors can make a bigger difference than people expect.

🌟 A customer in Bangor recently came to Budget Designer HomeWorks looking to replace their old timber doors and the results have completely changed the look of the property. 🏡✨

For the front entrance, we installed a traditional style composite door featuring a tongue and groove design with a realistic woodgrain finish. Finished in dark green externally and white internally, with matching frames, clear Low E glazing in the door and sidelights, and gold door furniture, it creates a welcoming entrance while maintaining the character of the home. 🚪

At the rear, we fitted a composite stable door finished in cream outside and white inside, again featuring a tongue and groove design with a woodgrain effect and matching frames. The stable door allows the top half to open independently from the bottom half, making it ideal for enjoying fresh air while helping to keep children and pets safely inside. 🌿

Both doors offer all the benefits of modern composite door construction, including excellent security, improved energy efficiency, low maintenance, and resistance to warping, bowing and rotting. They provide the appearance of traditional timber doors without the ongoing upkeep. 🔒

The stable door is also proof that sometimes you can have the best of both worlds. Fresh air for the house, while the dog remains convinced the garden is just slightly out of reach! 🐶

Another great installation completed by the team at Budget Designer HomeWorks 😍

Our customer was looking to replace the existing doors between their home and sunroom and chose this beautiful set of anthracite grey French doors finished with chrome handles.

The doors were fitted with clear Low E double glazing which helps improve thermal efficiency between the two spaces, keeping the sunroom more comfortable throughout the year while allowing plenty of natural light to flow through the home ☀️

The anthracite grey finish gives a modern appearance that works perfectly with both the house and extension, creating a much more open and connected feel between the rooms.

This new Palladio Door Collection composite door was recently fitted by the team at Budget Designer HomeWorks 😍

The customer chose an anthracite grey finish with matching frames along with a woodgrain tongue and groove design which suits the style of the property perfectly.
To keep plenty of light coming into the hallway while still adding privacy, we fitted sandblasted glazing with a clear border to both the door and the large sidelight. The chrome lever handle and matching letterbox finished everything off nicely 👌

Another transformation completed by Budget Designer HomeWorks 😍

Our customer in Holywood came to us with an old worn timber and polycarbonate conservatory that they wanted replaced. Our team carefully dismantled and removed the existing conservatory before getting started on this new installation.

To help reduce costs and installation time, we were able to reuse the existing base and dwarf wall which provided the ideal foundation for this new white gable front conservatory

This new space has been fitted with Low E toughened glazing for improved thermal efficiency, comfort, and security. To finish it off, we added vertical Georgian bars to the upper windows along with a set of French doors that open fully into the garden.

The result is a bright new living space that can now be enjoyed all year round ☀️❄️

🌟 A recent door upgrade where the old white uPVC had done its time and the customer was ready for something with a bit more character. 🏡

They chose this new uPVC door with a tongue and groove effect, finished in oak on the outside and white on the inside to keep things in line with the rest of the home. 🚪

The design includes matching obscure cut glass in both the door and sidelight, letting the light in while keeping things private. No need for the neighbours to know what’s for dinner. 👀

Finished off with a gold lever handle and letterbox to tie everything together and give it that final touch. ✨

🌟 We’ve been moonlighting in the commercial world lately! 🏗️

Most of you know us for residential work but we stayed right here in Bangor this week to help another local company replace some wooden doors that were about as secure as a wet paper bag.

We put in some fresh French doors with grey for the street side and white for the office side plus a solid panel fire exit with updated panic hardware for 100% compliance and safety 🛡️

It’s good to know that if there’s ever an emergency the doors will actually do their job because the old ones were mainly held together by luck and some very tired hinges.The whole building is now much more thermally efficient and secure. 🌡️
