Back in Feb we reduced and shaped this 18m beech tree back to natural growth points in lower Failand. James did a fantastic job using the 20m spider lift whilst navigating BT wires and an unusually busy lane.

Why it’s necessary to maintain your beech trees:

🌳Storm Safety: Reduce "wind sail" and weight to prevent dangerous "Beech Snap."

🌳Climate Resilience: Help your tree thrive during dry UK summers by reducing water demand.

🌳Property Protection: Manage moisture uptake to mitigate subsidence risks near foundations.

🌳Vitality: Clear out diseased limbs and encourage stronger, healthier growth.
Invest in longevity—not removal. Our expert arborists ensure your Beech remains a stunning feature of the landscape.

The cherry trees are putting on a world-class show right now! But if you're planning a tidy-up, wait just a little longer.

To avoid nasty infections like Silver Leaf, cherry trees should only be pruned in the summer. We’ll be starting our cherry maintenance in July—the perfect window to ensure your tree heals fast in the summer sun.

We reduced this magnolia by 1.5m and thinned out the crown which brought back all of the small birds to the feeders, what a relaxing sight to enjoy with a spot of lunch 🌳

Lets talk about Bamboo - it's a beautiful, fast growing and hardy plant that we plant for its exotic touch to the garden and for privacy screens or windbreaks.

However, it's easily installed incorrectly and becomes invasive, quickly spreading unchecked throughout the garden, becoming incredibly difficult to remove or control.

Fortunately that’s where we come in! With our machinery and experience we have a cost effective solution to tame or remove out of control bamboo.

For any advice please pop me a call on 07719195052 or email [email protected]

We had a nice time dead wooding this wonderful Deodar in Stanton Drew. It had been a long time since the last prune, the crown had a large amount of dead branches throughout.

By removing the deadwood it will help prevent the spread of diseases and allow the tree to allocate resources more efficiently to healthy parts.

It also improves the visual appearance of the tree keeping things nice and tidy! 🌲

If you’re interested to have one of your trees deadwooded pop me a call on ☎️07719195052 or email [email protected]

Did you know? In June, you can prune certain trees, particularly after they have finished flowering, to encourage new growth and maintain their shape. This includes many fruit trees and some evergreen trees. Specific Trees listed below:

Fruit Trees: 🌴Plums, cherries, peaches, and apricots (stone fruits) can be pruned in summer, from June onwards, to improve air circulation and fruit production. Evergreen Trees:🌲

Viburnum tinus, box hedges (Buxus), and certain evergreens after they've finished flowering. Some light pruning can be done on evergreen trees, such as trimming new growth or removing small branches.

Magnolias are best pruned in June to October to avoid sap bleeding from wounds.

🌳Sycamore trees may benefit from thinning out their crowns in June to improve air and light pe*******on.
