Recent consumer unit upgrade.
On the old one, if an appliance is faulty, like the iron or kettle etc, it took out the whole house. On the new one it only takes out the affected circuit. Also protected from power surge as recommended in the 18th edition wiring regulations

Lovely summer house done today all in white trunking and conduit. Led lighting, armoured cable back to the consumer unit and isolation switch ready for the new hot tub 😎 🌞

Outside lighting job completed recently. Balcony uplighters and then the wall lights around the decking.

Electric towel radiator fitted recently. Customer wanted to dry towels without having all the house heating on. Can be timer controlled or manually for 1-12 hours at a time

Outside lighting upgrade on a commercial building. Replaced the old 70w Son-t lamps, with the orange glow. Fitted the very latest 27w LED corn lamps with a crisp white light and 5 year manufacturer's warranty

Recently fitted a RING doorbell, the wired version. But the WiFi signal wasn't good enough to give a secure connection. I fitted a WiFi extender socket, and it loaded up straight away. Happy days 😉

Couple of consumer unit changes from this week. Gone from plastic and faulty, to metal clad with rcbo for each circuit and surge protection. As required in the 18th edition BS 7671 wiring regulations
