💪 Precision, Prep & Perfection – Karndean Van Gogh Herringbone Install💪

Another one completed — this time a full Karndean Van Gogh LVT installation in a herringbone pattern around a kitchen island 👌

What you don’t see in the photos is the amount of prep work that went into getting this floor perfect:

The original area had uneven floorboards in the existing section, and the new extension was 40mm lower due to the concrete base.

We built it up with plywood and layers of screed, bringing everything to a perfectly smooth surface.

Once the subfloor was spot-on, we added a final smoothing compound over the entire area to achieve a flawless finish ready for LVT.

We even built and finished two steps in matching LVT for a seamless look.

The end result makes it all worth it 🔥

🏡 Downstairs & Laundry Room:
Laid LVT in a timeless herringbone pattern. Because the original floorboards were uneven, we prepped with ply and screed to create a perfectly smooth finish.

From start to finish, we handled the entire process:

✨ Another Amtico LVT Transformation! ✨
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of completing this stunning small parquet herringbone floor with a two-plank border for the hallway and kitchen/diner.

What you see in the photos and video is the beautiful finished product — but behind the scenes, this job took a LOT of prep work. When we uplifted the old floor, it became clear the subfloor just wasn’t suitable. We had to grind it right back down to the concrete before we could even start fitting.

This is where experience in the trade really matters. Spotting the issues that can cause a floor to fail means we can address them properly — giving you a longer-lasting, better-finished floor you’ll enjoy for years to come.

✨ Recent Install – LVT Porch, Bedrooms & Stair Runner ✨

We recently completed a smart-looking project that included a full refresh of the porch, stairs, landing, and bedrooms.

✅ We started by prepping the existing floorboards with 9mm ply, ensuring a solid, smooth base for the finish.

✅ Then we installed a stunning oak-effect LVT throughout the porch and 3 bedrooms — a warm, durable, and easy-to-maintain option that’s perfect for everyday living.

✅ To complete the look, we fitted a stair runner with black tape edging and black stair rods for a sharp, stylish contrast, along with a matching landing carpet.

Everything tied together perfectly for a clean and modern finish the customer was over the moon with 👌
