We have been reminded this week of the importance of having conversations about how to avoid scams. Whether its your family, friends, neighbour or anyone else, a reminder can mean the difference between someone losing their money or not.
Scams are constantly evolving and criminals are finding increasingly creative ways to steal money now that people are more aware. People who aren't used to technology are being caught out on social media. For example, It's important that everyone knows that celebrities don't contact you to chat, that seemingly romantic messages from strangers aren't who they say they are etc.
Lets look out for each other to make sure that scammers remain failures.
