Would you like it fitted way back in a cupboard so you can’t access it sir? Oh yes please!
Would you like it to leak? Yes please, would you like the water that comes out to go only to your dishwasher that already has a softener? Yes please.
How would you like the regen drain connected? Would you like it to poke through the wall and discharge all over your patio? Oh yes please!

Another New Kitchen install after room alterations and external door removal. Howden’s Kitchen in extra tall with gloss white integrated handles for a clean look! Matching splashback boards! Induction hob, tower oven and nice microwave/grill/oven combo! Massive draw units, integral cutlery draw, full height pull out cupboard and some fancy articulated train basket pull out cupboards! Bluetooth remote plinth heater, pro click laminate flooring throughout, “strong white” wall paint! Lots of Storage!

Thanks again to some wonderful installer who managed to fire another nail through hit pipe!! Slowly starting to leak as nail rusts away😳 And then is the under floor waste drainage that was solid with debris because it was installed sloping the wrong way by a whole bubble out!!! Water apparently runs uphill in some parallel universes 😁

800 Quadrant shower with 8mm easy clean glass, Mira Atom thermostatic dual rain/wand head shower unit, Salamander 3 bar pump, BTW toilet & concealed cistern box, 500 surface mounted vanity sink unit, illuminated heated mirror cabinet, 500x1800 designer towel rad, pro click flooring, cool white recessed lighting, Matt white made to measure, Venetian blind, white Matt tiles with gunmetal grouting, “strong white” wall paint. 😀

This is a mains water filter before it enters the house. I change filter approx every six months. Just changed cartridge on left which was filthy and covered in a slimy film. What on earth is going on water companies?

A recently completed patio refresh from old standard buff squares to Marshall’s Sunset Buff Indian sandstone with a Circle pack a squaring off pack and some stone setts to edge things off with Bradstone Buff Weatherpoint! Dwarf wall

Unusual lighting to create that mood..... as well as all the commonly known LED bulbs most of us have in our homes the last couple of years have seen some fantastic new traditional virtual filament LED bulbs in all shapes, fittings, tones and sizes.
Screwfix stock a growing range of Diall, Phillips, LAP and Sylvania. Here are a couple I made in lockdown for personal use.

Guttering!!!! Poor, leaking, sagging, unsightly and blocked guttering is so often left as one of those “do it later” jobs. Overflowing, leaking and inadequate guttering causes so many issues with internal damp patches (particularly older properties) and external damage to walls, Paintwork and ground surfaces. Our changing weather patterns are bringing us greater challenges with heavier and more persistent rainfall which puts even more pressure on our roofline drainage!! Guttering comes in numerous styles, materials and sizes. Pictures show the new guttering used is an Ogee shape fast flow in white which has a greater capacity to deal with larger volumes of water.
