It’s always worthwhile to get feedback on a new product firstly to see if it actually works and also to check if the customer is happy with the work applied.

Like many solid wall properties, the issue wasn’t just ventilation — it was low internal wall surface temperatures. When warm indoor air hits a cold wall, condensation forms, leading to damp patches and black mould.

We applied Vipeq thin cork insulation by hawk and trowel on this one as it was a bath stone property reliant on breathability

• Walls felt warmer
• Condensation reduced
• Damp began drying out
• Mould stopped returning

Improving wall surface temperature is key to preventing condensation and mould in older Bath properties.

Day 2 in Ripping down this old plaster of Paris ceiling.

It had all the indications of plasterboard being on the ceiling but absolutely was not 😂
