Following on from yesterday's post, we also had a couple of new sash and case windows to paint.
Have to have a bit of patience with these windows and make sure the ropes and ironmongery are fresh and clean, also that they are done correctly to make sure the windows don't stick and will move freely 👌

Not very often I get asked NOT to do any filling on a job to make the walls look better 😲

This Edwardian house was built around 1901 and to keep the character of the old ceilings and walls, the customer requested that we don't do any filling to keep the rustic look.

Finished the walls with Farrow & Ball famous chalky estate emulsion.

Using another top tier product today 🙌

Currently doing a bathroom that suffers from high levels of condensation when the shower is on.

Can't see past Zinsser Perma White satin 😍 ticks all the boxes and even better I can get a colour mixed instantly at The Paint Shed - Bathgate 👍

Another wallpering job recently done ✅

Ceilings finished in white Matt

Walls filled, sanded and sealed with Zinnser Guardz prior to wallpapering.

Woodwork finished in Johnstone's Aquaguard satin white.

Had a great day out on Saturday with my cousin Ryan from Finesse Plastering Services joining us too.

Nice to get a wee treat and let the hair down.

Sunday spent trying to catch a murderer… 🐟🔪👀

This little marine menace has been terrorising the tank since he moved in… 2 fish and a sea urchin down 😳

He’s outsmarted us every time we’ve tried to catch him, so today it was all hands on deck and half the tank had to come out!

After weeks of bullying, murdering and generally causing chaos, we finally caught the little saltwater serial killer 🙌

Justice has been served.

Finally completed 'my'.... I mean the kids sticker book 🏆

Anyone who attempted this book over the summer will understand how happy I am right now to finally have it finished 😂
