Something a little different for us this week and we’re really happy with how it turned out.
The existing flooring had been heavily worn with deep scuffs and gouges throughout and the customer wanted to bring it back to life instead of replacing.
As part of the preparation, We completed multiple sanding passes in order to remove damage and also undertook repairs to the flooring to secure loose boards.
The floor was then treated with a stain in order to gain a consistent colour and highlight the natural grain, before a final round of sanding to remove the majority of this colouring in order to achieve a more natural look. The floor was then finished with a Polyurethane clear coat finish to protect and give it that lovely shine 👌
As part of this job we also redecorated the room using Dulux ‘Parchment paper’ for the walls accompanied by a Deep Black feature wall.
