❄️ Weather Update – Temporary Closure Today ❄️

Hope you all had a fantastic Xmas and new year 😁

We were due to reopen the shop today after the festive and New Year break and resume home estimates, however due to the snow and extremely dangerous road conditions, we’ve made the decision to remain closed today.

The safety of our customers and ourselves comes first, we don’t want anyone risking travelling to the shop, and it’s not safe for us to be driving out to homes for estimates in these conditions.

I’ll be working from home today carrying out fabric taping work and taking calls as normal.

We’re hoping the roads will be much safer tomorrow and plan to reopen the shop then.

•Stair runner completed for one of our trade customers. With the stunning basketweave tawny tape from Jason woven, perfectly curves around slight angles, and just look at that mitred corner 🤩 🏆

•Carpet whipping. Wilton carpet that was recently installed by another fitter, with the excess pieces being brought to us to make some runners and mats with. Can’t go wrong with black edging. Makes this stunning carpet look amazing 🤩

Something a little different came in here at the shop. One of our suppliers requested for some samples to be made up.

They had a discounted range and one of their customers acquired most of it and wanted these samples made up to make some books for their trade/public customers. So we were sent 5 small rems 1 x 4m which we had to cut into 26 small squares each and whip each one. So a 130 pieces cut and whipped in a colour match yarn 🧶 another happy customer

Just a couple of jobs we done before Xmas with a full width taped stair runner being one of them, fully supplied, taped and installed by us at carpet bound and flooring, and looks amazing. Looks like black is most popular choice again as it is with our carpet whipping too.
