Three attemps over the past 40years or so to sort the damp problem, drill and inject, electric osmosis and the ceramic tubes method costing hundreds of pounds when all they needed to do was hack the render of to expose the original physical damp proof couse.

The pictures show one of many options to control condensation issues, passive vents allows trapped water vapour To escape, reduces Draughts, excessive airflow & heat loss, but still provides ventilation.

This property had been cement render over galvanised mesh, the mesh had rotted away most of the render was hanging on thin air, it was removed exposing lots of rotten timber which was replaced with new, h**p insulation installed, savalit boards fitted then finished with lime.

A job carryout earlier this year, cement render covering the oak beams, they where in a poor state so removed and replaced with green oak, Savolit board installed, lime plastered with Ashlar lines to finish.
