I came across a bad damp area in a bathroom.
So I stripped back all the loose and applied Peel Stop by Zinsser on the wall.
The I hung lining paper on the wall.
After that I hung the embossed paper making sure the pattern matched existing paper.
Then painted out the bathroom with two coats of Zinsser Perma White mixed in a Dulux colour

Colour drenched a 1930s house in Tikkurila Everal Aqua 10.
I had it mixed in Farrow and Ball Railings.
The original wood windows turned out particularly well.

This was the first time I got my hands on Benjamin Moore paint.
Benjamin Moore Ben Interior Matte is a water based, interior matt finish, suitable for walls and ceilings. The finish is smooth and easy to apply with an extended open time and splatter resistant for easy clean up. The paint has excellent hide and great coverage, providing a scuff resistant an easy to maintain finish. With minimal VOC's, the water-based product is easy to clean with soap and water. Available in over 3,500 Benjamin Moore colours.
Now
After I did 2 full coats I was not fully impressed as it needed a third coat because I saw blemishes in a certain light where the natural light was coming in and hit a certain part of the wall.
so for a 3.7 litre which is classed as an American Gallon is around £63 all in with VAT.
To me I feel Tikkurila High Performance Vinyl Matt is alot more of a flatter finish and better value for money as I can get a Benjamin Moore colour mix in Tikkurila for around £80 for a 10 Litre tub.
I won't be using this again unless a customer insists on it.
I did hear the Scuff X by Benjamin Moore is the ultimate paint as it can be for walls and woodwork combined but again you will pay alot for it.
