Finally finished ✅😅

After about 47 phone calls, 83 messages, and enough diary juggling to qualify for the circus… we’ve finally got this one over the line! And the last two rooms completed 🎪😂

We’ve been back and forth for the last 2 weeks with a new customer in Coventry who wanted the whole house plastered.

With the diary packed and not enough time to get it all done in one hit, we squeezed it in around the odd free days we had available — but we got there in the end! 💪

The whole house is now fully plastered and ready for the next stage of flooring, decorating, and trying not to put dents in the fresh walls 😆

Weekend work should be banned… ❌😂

But unfortunately, the walls didn’t get the memo.

We’ve spent the weekend working for a lovely couple in Nuneaton, getting their bedroom and hall, stairs & landing all sorted. 👌

They’d originally booked another plasterer who mysteriously vanished into thin air with no explanation… 🕵️‍♂️💨 So they gave us a call. We’d already worked the weekend before, so we thought what’s another weekend between friends? 😂

The only problem was it was the only time we had available, and the customer was on a tight schedule with other trades breathing down our necks waiting to get started. 🥵

So, over the weekend we:
✅ Boarded the ceiling
✅ Fixed the skirting line
✅ Prepped and primed everything
✅ Plastered the whole lot

All in a weekend’s work… although our backs might have a slightly different opinion. 🤦‍♂️😂💪

The transformation was well worth it, and the customers are ready for the next trades to crack on.

Now it’s back at it tomorrow for another week of bringing old, tired walls back from retirement. 👌🏡

✅ Another one completed!

We’ve been over in Tamworth sorting out a bedroom that had a ceiling doing its best impression of a trampoline and walls that had definitely seen better days.

The customer wanted the room freshened up and ready for painting, so naturally we ripped the ceiling down… because who really needs a ceiling anyway? 🤷‍♂️

Then we slapped some pink stuff on the walls and called it a day… 😏

Only joking!

We re-boarded the ceiling, primed the walls, and re-plastered the whole room properly. The customer can now sleep peacefully without wondering if the ceiling is planning an unexpected visit in the middle of the night. 👍😂

Another smooth finish and another happy customer! 🙌

Glad that one’s done 🥵🥵

Been at a returning customer’s house today getting their landing and stair walls done. We started early to try and beat the heat… but to be honest, the heat nearly beat us 🤦‍♂️😂

Sweat was dripping, plaster was setting, and patience was definitely being tested—but we got there in the end 💪

All finished now, so they can crack on with painting the hall, stairs, and landing 👌🎨

Another tall one done 💪😅

We’ve been over in Coventry sorting out a new customer’s ceiling and chimney breast area — bringing them both back to life 👌

After they stripped the wallpaper themselves, they quickly realised the ceiling definitely wasn’t in any condition for a lick of paint 🤦‍♂️😂

So we stepped in and:
✔️ Overboarded the ceiling
✔️ Added insulation in the bay window ceiling
✔️ Re-plastered everything to leave it smooth and ready for painting 🎨

Safe to say it’s looking a lot better now 🙌

I don’t want to see another ceiling like that’s again 😭

This week we’ve been in Lutterworth giving a makeover to an old 1700 house and honestly probably one of the worst ceilings we’ve plastered beams every wear some of the gaps were not big enough for the trowel 🤦‍♂️.

Anyway we had to do some boarding using DPM and a vapour barrier on two of the walls the chimney breast got a full re board and the rest got the usual make over.

Now that’s finished and ready for the customer to paint when they have decided on the 100+ colours 😂

Less drama on these walls now than in the family WhatsApp group 😂

Glad that one’s done 😅 We’ve been in Coventry tackling a hall, stairs & landing… although to be honest, it all just seemed to merge into one! The stairs were that narrow I’ve had to breathe in all day just to get up and down 🤷‍♂️

We boarded the stair ceiling too, as it was still rocking wooden planks from whenever the house was built. Then it was prime the walls, scrim tape every crack, and plaster the lot 🥵

To top it off, all the heat decided to settle on the tiny landing—basically turned it into a plasterer’s sauna 🥵🔥 but we got there in the end

Spent the last couple of days in Northampton getting two rooms plastered up for a new customer 👷‍♂️

Fair play to them — they’d already done all the boarding themselves, so we just had to come in, scrim it, bead it, and make it look pretty. Wish they were all like that 😅

All wrapped up now and ready for doors, fresh flooring, and a nice lick of paint 🎨
