🎉 It is the CMCK Architecture and Visualisations page's one-year anniversary this week! 🎉

I was and still am blown away by the support and positive comments that I have received over the past year since starting up my own architectural design-related business page, so thank you!!

After undertaking two degrees filled with many late nights and gaining experience at four architectural practices over seven long years, I am now in my final year of study to become a fully qualified architect. This has demanded much of my attention, which explains the reduced posting this year. However, I am still diligently working behind the scenes to ensure that clients' visions are exceeded. 🚀

Hello everyone! 🏡

Nestled along County Antrim’s picturesque North Coast, this latest endeavour is all about simplicity and fulfilling a client’s dream of downsizing to a garden home studio on their own land. Before the project the client was unsure about how their vision would look in its future setting. To provide clarity and insight, the following visuals were produced alongside detailed plans and elevations, to precisely communicate the envisioned design before construction even begins. 🪵

The spacious 2-bedroom 'L-Shaped' garden home is designed with a focus on seamless indoor-outdoor living. Large bifold doors when opened merge the internal space with the external patio, creating a connection between the interior and breathtaking coastline. 🌅

Additionally, this design showcases versatility by presenting with three distinct cladding options to the client. First, Timber Slats which lends a welcoming warmth. Second, naturally weathered siding that brings a rustic character. Lastly, Grey Composite Boards that introduce a modern and sleek aesthetic.

Hello Everyone! 🏡

I trust you're all doing well. I just wanted to come on here provide a quick update on recent developments and once again, give a massive thank you to everyone who has reached out in person and online, the support and encouragement means alot.

I've been engrossed in some exciting planning applications and various other small yet engaging yet projects for clients, which have kept me occupied and away from regular updates here.
Projects ofcourse remain as the priority, and I'm channeling all my efforts into ensuring their success whilst looking forward to sharing all the results here.

Hello everyone, and thank you again for your continued support through liking and sharing! The page has hit 300 likes + Followers!

As promised, a new project spotlight;
House by the Old Forge - Planning Application for a Side Garage Extension.🏡

The client for this project initially wanted to see how a small side garage extension would look from the front, and after seeing how effective the visualisations communicated this, they requested additional renderings for a completely re-imagined back garden that would introduce "...better spaces family time and flowers".

Working closely with the client to understand how the back garden should function came before it's form. The proposal includes BBQ embedded in a plantable wall, across the boundary of the grass garden, split by a path that leads to a structural pergola to create the feeling of dual room outside with a seating and dining/cocktail area, perfect for this summer weather.
