Made from a piece of sycamore tree. Planed down and smoothed over with the sander. The ashy white colouring goes perfect in this little spot. 14inch legs used as the chairs are a little on the smaller side.

Fully restored garden bench

All rust removed from cast iron ends and polished up. Freshly painted to a colour of your choosing. Mahogany planks used for this restore. Mahogany is a hard, tight-grained wood. It resists shrinking and splintering which makes it a perfect wood for outdoor furniture.

All rust removed from the cast iron ends and polished up. Freshly painted to a colour of your choosing.
Cedar wood used for new planks. The oils in cedar protect the wood against decay, which makes the material ideal in even the muggiest climates. It also has a natural resistance to water, something we get a lot of in Northern Ireland!

Summer isn’t over! ☺

Completed an order for a matching pair of garden benches 🌿 High backs with flat tops, perfect for resting a glass of wine in the evenings! I placed the planks very close to give the illusion of a solid sturdy seat but with slim gaps to allow drainage for rainwater to maintain the benches for longer. This design was created so the benches can be placed individually or as a pair, look out on the page for another pair coming soon where they meet to create one large corner unit! ☺👍🏼

Not even the relentless rain this week stopped this gate going up 🔨

Custom built hardwood gate to replace an existing dilapidated door. New pine timber frame inserted to the space and a door made from rough wood planks sanded down not only for safety but to give an authentic aged effect. As this door is on the heavy side I agreed with the client on these large black iron-effect hinges & accessories to compliment the wood and give a nod to a Country/Mediterranean style.
