Good Morning, the Easter Bank Holiday is fast approaching and we are all keen to get into our gardens, we have a fantastic selection of Hardy Perennials all looking good and excellent value for money. We also have a large range of Alpine/ Rockery plants guaranteed to give you some early colour. We are continually planting bedding for the next few weeks and will soon be planting up our award winning hanging baskets. We are proud of the quality of our plants and are one of the few remaining traditional nurseries in the area. For new customers please note we are Seasonal growers and open from mid March until early June.

Our Opening Hours for the Easter Holidays are as follows;

CLOSED on GOOD FRIDAY and EASTER SUNDAY
OPEN on SATURDAY and EASTER MONDAY 9.30 - 4pm

Good Morning, we are now OPEN for the season, our opening hours are 9.30 till 4pm Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday 10 till 4pm. We are CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays.
At the moment we have a lovely selection of Hardy Alpines all grown in England and a great range of Hardy Perennials, we will be potting up bedding plants for the next 6 weeks and as usual will have a brilliant colourful selection. After the wet and miserable winter hopefully better weather is on the way and now is the perfect time to get out into your gardens. We look forward to seeing all our customers old and new Jon and Katrina.

Hi Everyone, we are pleased to announce that we will be opening for the season on Saturday March 21st. At the moment we are busy potting up our fantastic range of Summer Bedding plants and our large range of English grown perennials. As always we will be offering a large range of Hardy Alpines and have a selection of Shrubs. As ever we will have quality compost on sale also large grow bags and tomato planters. We look forward to seeing all customers old and new, our opening hours will be Wednesday to Saturday 9.30 - 4pm and Sundays 10 - 4pm, we will be CLOSED Mondays and Tuesdays. Good morning, just to let you all know we are now CLOSED for the season. This year has been our busiest ever with customers enjoying the wonderful spring weather and making an early start in their gardens. We take great pleasure in producing our plants and we thank all of our customers for all your support and lovely comments.
We will be opening next year in March 2026 and are already making plans for a even bigger selection of plants, we look forward to seeing you all then have a lovely summer.

Hi everyone if you are visiting the nursery today access is from Crich Lane. Broadholme Lane from the A6 will be closed due to road resurfacing.

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know that we will be open today as it is a Bank Holiday, 10 till 4pm.

Hi Everyone, we hope you are enjoying the sunshine, perfect for getting into your gardens, we have a large range of hardy Perennials in two sizes that are looking fantastic and will add colour and interest to your gardens for many years to come. Our range of hardy Alpines are a picture and look great in pots, rockeries and borders, they require little or no maintenance and spread giving a lovely display for many years, we have small and large sizes available. As a seasonal plants nursery we are currently busy planting our huge range of bedding plants and we will as usual be making up our award winning hanging baskets .
