Design always starts with a feeling.

Before a single sample was ordered, I knew exactly how this space needed to feel: rich, sumptuous, and like stepping into a luxury boutique hotel. I literally had to close my eyes, picture that atmosphere, and feel the mood of the room before I could begin designing it. My clients might possibly think I'm slightly mad but it works for me! To bring that vision to life, we layered tactile and luxurious textures, living metals and warm tones. When you design for how a space feels, the visual beauty just flows naturally.

Designing spaces for children is always fun. This bathroom in one of my recent projects was no exception. We had some fun choosing the decorative pieces to really make this space sing! The cute bobbin legs of the stool, spotty lampshades and quirky bathmats are my favourite touches in here. Swipe to the end for the before picture!

A pheasant themed WC? A closer look at this scheme I designed for my clients, bringing in the heritage and country feel to this room. The pheasant wallpaper was the starting point for this rich and fun design, anchored by the deep green panelling. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a technical drawing come to life exactly as imagined. For this en-suite, we layered the beautiful natural textures; wall paneling, marble veining, and warm oak tones to create a space that feels both modern and timeless as well as undeniably luxurious.

Dressing room of dreams. I simply adore this space and how moody and luxe it feels. Aside from looking beautiful it is a very functional room with space for everything, integrated lighting within the cabinetry and an electronics drawer so wires are all neatly stored away. Hotel vibes for this spare room. We added some drama with the colours and fabrics in here and the bespoke upholstered headboard is a real focal point of this design. Loved bringing this vision to life for my client who gave the me the amazing brief of creating a luxury hotel-vibe bathroom. Absolute dream of a room for me!! There’s nothing like a freestanding tub to make a statement and I knew we had to go bold! We focussed on these beautiful natural materials to create a feeling of understated luxury in this space with some touches of this dramatic burgundy. Captured by styling by .interior.styling

Designing this room was an absolute dream. My clients were keen to create a relaxed and family friendly space in this stunning home. I wanted to balance heritage with comfort. My goal for this project was to keep the soul of this beautiful home intact while injecting a layer of colour, warmth and comfort that is a perfect place to relax with the family.

Before and after and durings of this WC! This space just wasn’t quite right. A large double vanity was crammed into this narrow room along with some dark patterned wallpaper. By stripping it back and introducing decorative mouldings around the windows, generous coving, and taller skirting with wall panelling, we gave the room a feeling of grandeur that it deserves. We replaced the heavy unit with a slim, legged vanity, allowing the floor to continue underneath and creating a sense of light and space. We sourced some gorgeous hand painted tiles with a vintage patina and I think they are my favourite part of this space. Characterful, authentic and just a bit quirky. I’m obsessed with how the deep aubergine of the cabinetry in the dressing room frames the view into the en-suite in this bedroom suite. We totally pushed the boundaries by picking this bold and saturated colour here and it definitely adds some dark moody drama as you walk into the beautifully light bathroom. The gorgeous deep aubergine features on the bath too, tying the whole space together cohesively. I would never leave!
