Experienced Painter & Decorator – Full Time

Due to a fully booked diary going into the new year and the retirement of one of our long-term employees, we are looking to add the right individual to join our established team of 7 tradesmen.

This is a long-term, full-time position, working as part of a skilled team to complete projects to a high standard across North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in painting and decorating (essential)
• Ability to work to a high standard with strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence (beneficial)
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work well as part of a team

We would also consider a semi-skilled applicant with the right aptitude to learn. Training will be provided to bring you up to our standards.

What We Offer:
• £15 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
• Full-time, long-term employment
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Attendance allowance
• Bonus scheme (to be discussed)

Last outside job of 2023 done!!
The lads have done a cracking job up in Lilliesleaf in the Scottish Borders!
Some miner wood repairs and all masonry, 2 dormers, gutters and eaves painted!

As well as the big jobs we do, we get the odd smaller quirky projects and this one is very unique!
A small kids den decorated this week with some lovely bright colours and even a magnetic chalkboard!

A nice job this week in Castle Terrace with some lovely colours going on! Very happy customers indeed and we received this lovely message before we had even finished!

Bus update!
First coat is on and it has completely transformed the outside of the bus! I will post the finished bus pictures as soon as the lads complete the job!

Bus update!!
We have now completely prepared the bus for painting! Holes filled and sanded from our skillful painters who can turn their hands to anything! Michael has made that good a job of his sanding that he's tried to drive it away!!

Good afternoon fellow painters!
The lads are starting an interesting project this week at Longridge Towers School, helping transform this old double decker bus into a class room. We'll keep you updated with our progress over the next few days!
