At Coletta & Tyson Garden Centre we are a local family run business with our main focus being plants, most of which are grown right here on our own nurseries in East Yorkshire. We also have a delicious cafe that serves award winning home-made dishes and tempting treats, plus an award winning pet shop. As well as all your gardening needs we also have gifts, indoor furniture, garden furniture, chimeneas, bbqs, waterfeatures, hard landscape and more.

As growers, it pains us to say this... 🌱😅

But if you love the look of flowers and plants without the watering, feeding, pruning and occasional panic when things start turning brown...

Our faux floristry range is brilliant.

Beautifully realistic, full of colour, and guaranteed to look just as good next month as it does today.

We'll always be champions of the real thing, but for those who want all the beauty without the upkeep, these are a pretty good alternative.

Pop in and check them out for yourself (though we'll still do our best to convince you to take home the real thing instead)! 🌱

🐾 Meet our Persian Jirds! 🐾

Looking for a small pet that’s a little different? Say hello to the Persian jird! The bigger, more chilled-out cousin of the gerbil 💛

With their sandy-soft coats, long bodies and curious personalities, these adorable little animals love to dig, climb, explore and snuggle up together in a cosy nest.

Persian jirds are very social, so they do best in pairs or groups. We currently have:

✨ 1 male group
✨ 1 female group

If you love gerbils but would like a slightly larger, sturdier companion, a Persian jird could be the perfect match 🐾
