Woodland Ways operating since 2001 producing coppiced products, wattle hurdles, full river bank restorations. Working with individual clients or national agencies. Using hazel and sweet chestnut materials coppiced from surrounding Worcestershire woodlands.

It's a long process making an oak basket. This is a knot taw, attaching the lapping spelk to the hazel rim. It's the start of the basket making however a lot has gone on before getting to this point, cleaving, boiling and riving!

More woven oak baskets. Called spale baskets here in Worcestershire but these are woven with the cumbrian swill pattern.
