A large L-shaped row of mature Conifers that required a significant height reduction after repeated snap-outs and limb failures. With neighbouring property at risk, it was important to reduce the height and wind resistance of the trees to make them far safer while still retaining a healthy screen.

Using specialist machinery and equipment, we carefully reduced and reshaped the entire row, maintaining the structure of the trees while taking a substantial amount of weight and sail out of the tops. This approach allows us to carry out large-scale reductions efficiently, safely, and with minimal disruption to the surrounding area. The work was also carried out outside of bird nesting season, ensuring it was completed responsibly and in line with good environmental practice.

The result is a much safer, more stable hedge line that will continue to grow well but with far less risk of future breakages.

Another tidy job completed and the surrounding property now protected from further damage.

Another job completed for a local customer here in Far Forest looking to open up space and allow more light around their property. ☀️🌳

We removed two Oaks which had been previously pollarded, taking them down to ground level to allow much more natural light into the rear garden and property. With the garden being south-facing, this will make a big difference throughout the day.

At the front of the property we also removed two dead Sycamore trees that had reached the end of their life.

All timber was left on site as requested and cut into rings ready for firewood.

Oak Removal. 🌳

We recently carried out the removal of a mature Oak which was growing out over nearby buildings and a holiday let. Due to its condition and position to the property, the decision was made to carefully dismantle and remove the tree.

Rather than removing everything from site, the clients asked for a large section of the main stem to be left as a Habitat Stump. This will provide a valuable home for local wildlife, including insects, birds, and other small creatures, allowing the tree to continue supporting the ecosystem even after removal. A great example of balancing safety, responsible tree management, and biodiversity.

Mature Beech Tree Removal. 🌳

Recently Wyre Tree Services carried out the careful removal of a large, mature Beech Tree that had sadly gone into decline. Following recommendations from recent tree surveys, the tree was felled to reduce potential risk and ensure the safety of the surrounding area.

Although it's always a shame to remove such a beautiful tree, responsible management and safety must come first.

All timber and brash were processed on site and the area left clean and tidy.

Five Fir Trees Removed. 🌲

These fir trees had been planted very close to the house by previous owners and had grown large enough to block a lot of natural light from reaching the property.

The new homeowners asked us to remove all five to open the space up and bring more light back into the house and garden.

Another job completed safely and leaving the property feeling much brighter.
