Nice little transformation job on this one—turning a standard doorway into a clean arch really changes the feel of the room. Started by setting out the curve properly, cutting and fixing the arch former, then boarding it out and reinforcing the edges so it’s solid and ready for plaster. Took time shaping it so both sides are perfectly even—this is where the finish really matters.
Ceiling was next—prepped, sealed where needed, then skimmed out nice and flat with a clean, smooth finish. Once that was set up, moved onto the coving, carefully measuring and cutting all mitres so everything lines through properly around the room. Fixed and filled, then blended it in so it looks seamless against the fresh ceiling.
All finished off with a tidy skim over the arch and surrounding areas so everything ties in together—sharp lines, smooth curves, and a proper clean finish throughout. Perfect ready for decorating 👌
