Another stunning pine floor restoration complete! ✨ This floor underwent a full three-stage sanding process, taking it right back to bare timber. We secured loose boards, replaced damaged ones, repaired rotten support joists, and gap-filled the entire floor before a final re-sand for a smooth, seamless finish. The floor was then stained to the client's chosen color and protected with Bona HD, enhancing the natural character of the pine while providing a durable, long-lasting finish. Nice little before & after from a job at the sussex masonic centre in Brighton 👇

This oak herringbone floor had definitely seen better days, but after a full sand and seal it’s come up really nice 👌 Clean, smooth, and the grain’s properly standing out again.

Another transformation completed 🙌

This one was a real labour of love. These horrible tiles had been stuck down with bitumen, so the first step was carefully lifting them without causing too much damage. From there, scraped all the bitumen off the floor — a slow but necessary process to get back to a clean surface.

We also removed countless pins throughout the floor (a proper de-nailing job!), cleaned out all the gaps, filled the gaps and replaced any damaged boards to bring everything back to a solid foundation.

Once all the prep was done, the floor was fully sanded, stained, and finished — completely transforming the space and bringing the wood back to life.

Pine floor restoration in an old car garage in Bexhill. The floor was caked in motor oil and there was a beautiful smell of burnt tires whilst sanding. Now looking sharp with plenty of character and ready for plenty of use. I believe it is now a beauticians 💅🚗
