Granny annex or ‘Grannexe’ as the client has named it is now complete.

This was a cold, damp storage space that we’ve transformed into a liveable area for the clients elderly mother to sleep at night. Then throughout the day she’ll move to the main house to be with the family.

We started by building a stud wall to divide the room into a living area/bedroom and a wetroom.
The electrics needed upgrading all the way back to the consumer unit within the main house. We were then able to install a 2 zone electric underfloor heating system to keep the floor toasty and warm the space. Along with new electrics to supply the bathroom and lighting. Thanks to once again for a great job.
Two new windows were added on the back wall to allow more light in and also give the clients mother even more views over the fields. These were installed by the clients builders.
New skirtings were added and then all the walls and ceilings were painted to brighten up the rooms.

It’s now a warm, inviting space to be in and the client is over the moon with the end result.
