A tricky little job today. I had to open a 5 lever deadlock on a shop door. This involved the use of specialist equipment to decode the lock and make a mock up key. No damage to the lock or door. 😎

This is a clip from the one show about rouge Locksmiths. Worth a watch if you have time.

Though it is worth mentioning, that most locksmiths are not members of the MLA and are still good at their job's. However you should always, where possible, use somone local, that has been recommended.

Shout out to Repair My Phone Today . The screen on my work phone stopped working today and the guy in the shop not only replaced the screen, but he did so within an hour.
As a small business I really appreciated the speed and level of service I received.

A shout out to Jan at Small Paws Patrol .

I had a call from Jan today. One of her jobs involved calling into a customer's house to feed their cat. However, when she got there (with a key), she was unable to open the door.

Not only did she go around to the cat flap with some tray food, to make sure her kitty charge was looked after, but she also had to call around for a locksmith.

Then she had to make another trip to the house to meet me there.
Once there we managed to gain entry and sort the problem.

I really like to see small businesses going above and beyond for their customers. I'm sure her customers appreciate it
