When the customer gets quoted nearly £500 for a mock beam. A trip to the local TP and a bit of selection on three lengths of PSE £65. A 45deg cut on all three planks glued up then sanded with the aid of and angle grinder and bingo. A repo cover beam.

Leaking Magna clean above boiler, dead circulation pump as had run dry due to blocked pipe work from header tank so a few hours cuddling an Emerson heated water cylinder to cut out clean pipe work and replace pump. Next job convert to pressurized and remove header tank.
