This lovely driveway we completed in August 2023
Unfortunately I don't have the best photos or even all of them! But none the less it still looks amazing!

The customer had only just moved in and wanted to something cost effective but also that gave her that modern feel of a new property, So we stripped back the old block paving, uncovering 2 layers old driveway!!

We used one of my personal favourites tegula blocks to boarder the driveway and filled it back up with ( black basalt stone ) this is alot nicer than any shingle as its more hard standing and doesn't feel like a beach when you walk on it! And looks awesome contrasting with the tegulas! We used the same on the step as seen In photos

The old driveway had two entrances she wasn't keen on this but liked the idea of possibly opening it up again in the future. So turfed out the front and carried on the fencing all the way through and changing the size of the flower bed out the front allowing more parking on the property.

we topped the beds up with mulch and did a lovely planting scheme of various different plants and used established loral/red Robin hedging throughout the back garden where previously nothing was!

And of course, to top it off we painted the fence to tie in with the rest of it. πŸ’ͺ

Although I've been terrible with posting anything on here we've been very busy!!!

We had a very wet end to last year and a even wetter start to the year! So of course installing some land drains was essential to combat this issue. we've had a crazy amount of rain this year already! 🀣

But finally we are out of the mud and have layed some turf! And making this place look amazing, I have some really cool before pictures of this job from last year I'll post up soon! Ill try post them in order or with the date so you can see the progress πŸ’ͺ

Throw back to early summer! β˜€οΈ

This job was one of my personal favourites from this year! The client , the location , the job at hand we loved it all!

Ana got us back in to do some more work on her already impressive project (home) which I advise you check out!

Last year we built her some raised beds which as you can imagine where in full bloom by this point!
But she wasn't done yet! We added a few more beds for sweetpeas, erected a bespoke balau bench which I will post later on! And this pogola with wires running to the house for her climbers to follow! Keen to get back and see the progress and get some updated pictures of all the work completed! πŸ’ͺ

This was a really satisfying job start to finish!
Before was again and unused area of garden that was once an allotment but it had no real structure and was all a bit of a mess!

So we ripped out all the old and got building! Each sleeper complimented the next and it started to take shape! We then put down a heavy duty membrane to keep it from over growing into each other and of course to keep the pathways nice and clean While walking around in there!

We also installed a shed and a compost toilet so the client could stay on her land for longer rather than having to make the trip up to the house and back! ( which is a very long walk )

Now she can spend the whole day down here planting and looking after her bees! 🐝 πŸ’ͺ

This was a bit of a different one over a Saturday I did a couple weeks back!

The customer wanted to sort out this area of patio but didn't want to use anything new! He had loads of reclaimed/unused bricks, stones that he had laying around. Greg wanted it to be rustic and very much random!

at first I wasn't sure about it only reason being as there was so many different sizes/thickness to work with plus tieing into the old work... it didn't look fun at all! But once I started to work out a pattern and dug it all in, I started to really like it and enjoy the process!

Greg has since been seen enjoying martinis on this patio catching the last sun of the evenings!πŸŒžπŸ‘ŒπŸΈ

It's always amazed me what you can do with limited space in gardens!

This customer wanted to brighten up and make use of her otherwise unused garden she wanted flowers and bright colours but wasn't sure where or if they would go. So We draw up a plan and got to work!

1 sleeper at a time we brought this area to life and I honestly couldn't be happier with it!
We went back once the customer had some plants ready to go and also installed a top cap so she could sit down while planting/maintaining her beds! Which we also love the look of! It's amazing what you can do with sleepers!!
