We was asked to paint a room for a customer, unfortunately when we started the prep work, noticed large amounts of cracked plaster falling away from the wall.
Upon further inspection, I noticed someone had previously just boarded with wood, and the whole wall was loose/live. After coming to agreement with the customer and landlord, we agreed to re-board the wall with new stud work and supporting timbers.
We then got a plasterer to skim before re fitting the skirting and painting.
Due to the nature of this job we also has a strict budget to adhere to with materials.
