🌿 I attended a free moth & bat walk this evening and it was great! 🦋🦇🦋
You wouldn't believe the amount of moths you'd find in your garden if you gave them an environment to thrive! Let your garden be wild! 🌱 I didn't capture any, but we saw so many bats and used a bat detector device to hear their calls! Can't wait to go again 🌿

🌿 Currently, my plot is for the birds and any other wildlife that finds it way there. 🐦🐸🐌🐞🐝🦋🐛🕷🪱
Honestly, I'm very okay with that! I'll plant my food around its wilderness, happy to support and provide space for our precious British wildlife, sometimes I see a lovely fox snoozing here 🦊💚 It's nice taking a pic of my plot at a different angle too! Makes me see how much it's progressing and looking how I see it in my minds eye! Haven't included the still tarped area, where I'm planning on having a perennial veg 'stock bed' area that I'll be using to take cuttings and gather seeds, aswell as providing plants to help create other green spaces through the Mother Garden Network 🌿

🌿 I'm so very lucky for the life that I lead and the work that I get to do! ✌️💚🐌
The absolute pleasure I have from tending this beautifully wildlife friendly and abundant garden is unfounded. Plus, the 4 cats that I get to hang out with whilst there is just the cherry on top of the vegan cake!!! I always spot some super cool bugs in the garden as it has so many wonderful pollinator friendly plants, huge wildlife supporting pond, boggy areas, woodland areas and a hedgehog sanctuary aswell as insect hotels and birdhouses and feeders! A swiftbox, too, in hopes of attracting them into their garden. Absolute wildlife haven and paradise. In my next life, I'd happily be a butterfly or frog in that garden 🐸🦋💚🌱🐈‍⬛🌿

🌿 Day 2 of being a snowy snack supplier to the birds and I was bitten by a goose! 🪿😹
I still can't quite believe that in March we've had this much snowfall in spring, far more than we did during the winter months
This extreme weather and temperature fluctuation really gets you thinking. ❄️☀️
The snow, for some reason, reminded me of the intense heatwave we had in the summer and the nights I was kept up thinking about the water shortages that affected our wonderful British wildlife. 🦊🐿🦔 I left out water bowls in the hope it would help any thirsty friends. I often go and feed the birds, but it was different this time, I felt the urgency to go and do it and I'm so glad I did 💚 🌿

🌿 Supplying the snacks to my birb friends during this cold spell 🦆🦢🪿🐦‍⬛💚❄️ This cold weather has really taken me by surprise! I've got soo many seeds still to sow, so let's hope it doesn't stay for too long! 🌿

🌿 My allotment is now my whole life and entire personality 😹 I'm loving spending so much of my time there and currently laying down so so much peat-free organic compost on top of mulched leaves and cardboard. I'm sore and achy after but that simply reminds me of a job well-done! 🙌 🌿
