At Moseley Minton Tile Co we don't wear capes. But when a customer ( who's booked in ) was having a new kitchen floor fitted this week and had a nasty threshold we dropped everything. The capes came out the wardrobe and we jumped in the Tile mobile. A few hours later the champagne corks were popping.

Here's one of those convoluted jobs. Lots of small issues dotted around. Loads of new tiles in the main body. New bits of border, three new thresholds and a darn good scrub. Still 140 years old. But good for another 140. Even offered a free reseal on its 280 year birthday. I'm such a softie.

The story of a porch refurb. According to MMTCo.
From enquiry, thru CAD design, quote and installation. 50% of which you don't see. Hours at the computer, driving around collecting materials, waiting for tiles to arrive. It's not all glamour. But I know we make it look so glamorous.
Anyhow. All done. Looks pretty sharp.
Where's my golden spirit level.

One of our biggest jobs so far this year. Dozens of damaged tiles. I mean dozens. Then the requirement of 3 new thresholds. So we got stuck in. New concrete in a couple of thresholds. Then tiling, the easy bit. Then, as with some of these old houses a surprise. The side of the hallway was basically on soil. Such fun. Some more concrete required. And a whole row of new tiles to install. We persevered and finally a corner was turned.
We got there. All turned out nice.

Every month or so we're asked if we can put a Matt recess within the homeowners 120 year old floor. I've not met one yet where it's not been possible. We always like to keep within the existing pattern. Like here. Along with a few replacements ( from the hole we dug ) and a clean and seal it all turned out rather nice.
